The Brexit is part of the geopolitical risks which have increased in recent years. How is Hannover Re reacting to this? This is not a good development. Protectionism is in contrast to the basic idea of reinsurance: Atomization of risks in free markets. The world wide diversification of risks should not be hindered by way of hurdles and barriers.
